Saint John's Health Center
Weingart Foundation Emergency Department (ED)

At a time when many emergency rooms are closing, Saint John’s has opened a highly modernized Weingart Foundation Emergency Department (ED).

Whether it’s having processes in place to provide immediate care in crisis situations or long-term planning for the most efficient emergency room in Southern California, Saint John’s Health Center’s Emergency Room is always looking for ways to provide excellent treatment as quickly as possible.

For more than 10 years, Saint John’s has shown itself to be highly skilled at rapidly treating acute heart attack patients as a Los Angeles County STEMI receiving health center with cardiologists and
Cath Lab  staff on call to provide immediate assistance. (STEMI stands for ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction – the most severe type of heart attack.)

Saint John’s ER also prides itself on being able to handle a high volume of patients. Patients should feel comfortable coming to Saint John’s and know they are being looked after by incredibly dedicated doctors, nurses and staff.
